I have received my PhD in Mathematics from Claremont Graduate University. Primary focus of my studies is numerical methods for solving differential equations on (pseudo-)Riemannian manifolds. I have Masters degree in Mathematics from the same school, and BS degree in Applied Math & Computer Science from Ufa State Aviation Technical University.

Experience

I have experience teaching high-school math at private boarding school (Webb), co-teaching, and doing research at several liberal arts colleges (Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd). In past I have been tutoring variety of upper division math and scientific programming classes at Claremont Colleges, such as Real & Complex Analysis, Programming (C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Maple), Calculus, PDEs, and LaTeX.

Hobbies

I like to spend my leisure time traveling, hiking, backpacking, learning foreign cultures and languages, and doing adventure sports. In addition, I regularly participate in local events related to ballroom dance, fitness, international and cultural diversity, and other. My main and the most significant hobby is mathematics. Math and computer science aside, my academic hobbies include physics, astronomy, history, German language and culture, physical education, and ecology.
