I've worked as a tutor for over five years, both at the high school and collegiate level. While attending attending university, I was employed by a tutoring center in southern California, where I provided instruction to middle and high school students in Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC and SAT/ACT. In addition, I've also worked for the tutoring center at Santa Clara University for three terms, helping fellow undergrads with finite math and calculus. My areas of expertise are in Algebra and SAT math, as I personally wrote the Algebra I, II and SAT curricula for the tutoring company I work at. Every single one of my Algebra students have improved by at least one full letter grade, and my SAT students have all surpassed either their previous score, or their target score. In addition to the above, I've: -Ranked 99th percentile in SAT Math (perfect score) -Ranked 98th percentile in ACT Math -Completed Calculus I, II & III, Finite Math, and Statistics at Santa Clara University -Taken and passed the CSET (California Subject Examination for Teachers) Multiple Subjects I, II & III with a perfect score across all Math sections I communicate easily with any student, whether it be a review of math fundamentals or enrichment to stay ahead of the curve.
